In the summer of 2017, the Centre Pompidou organized a major retrospective dedicated to David Hockney on the occasion of his eightieth birthday. The exhibition traced several decades of artistic creation through an impressive selection of paintings, drawings, photographs, and digital works reflecting the constant evolution of his artistic vision.  

Visitors discovered the wide variety of subjects explored by the artist, from his iconic Californian landscapes to nature-inspired compositions and innovative experiments with technology and visual perception.
