FAQ

Is it really free to display artworks on the platform?

Yes. Displaying artworks on Artmaster.fr is completely free.

SAS 9 Vies receives remuneration only in the event of a sale, in the form of a commission provided for under the cooperation agreement.

What is the Artmaster.fr business model?

Artmaster.fr operates on a commission-based model.

The artist enters into a cooperation agreement with SAS 9 Vies, after which their artworks may be presented on the Artmaster.fr platform.

SAS 9 Vies provides:

  • promotion of artworks;
  • presentation of artworks to collectors and art enthusiasts;
  • commercialisation through Artmaster.fr;
  • support in the relationship between the artist and the buyer.

In the event of a sale, SAS 9 Vies receives a commission of 30% of the sale price, in accordance with the terms of the cooperation agreement.

Who sets the prices?

The prices of artworks are independently determined by the artist or professional art-market participant.

The price displayed on the platform is determined in accordance with the cooperation terms agreed between the seller and SAS 9 Vies.

How is delivery handled?

Artworks are shipped directly by the seller (artist or professional art-market participant) to the buyer.

Each seller is responsible for:

  • professional and secure packaging of the artwork;
  • protection of the artwork during transport;
  • selection of the carrier;
  • compliance with shipping deadlines;
  • providing tracking information;
  • arranging transport insurance when necessary.

After confirmation of the order, the artwork is generally shipped within 2–5 business days, unless otherwise specified in the sales conditions.

The tracking number is provided to the buyer after the artwork has been handed over to the carrier.

The Artmaster.fr platform acts solely as an intermediary and does not participate in the storage, packaging, preparation, or transportation of artworks.

What happens if the artwork arrives damaged?

If damage is discovered upon delivery, the buyer must:

  • make the necessary reservations with the carrier upon receipt of the artwork, whenever possible;
  • take photographs of the packaging and the damaged artwork;
  • contact the seller as soon as possible through the communication tools available on the Artmaster.fr platform.

The seller is responsible for the packaging and shipment of the artwork and works with the buyer to find an appropriate solution.

Depending on the circumstances, the solution may include:

  • a refund;
  • return of the artwork;
  • replacement of the artwork, if possible;
  • or any other solution agreed between the seller and the buyer.

SAS 9 Vies may be informed of the dispute and may assist communication between the parties as a mediator, without replacing the seller and without any obligation to achieve a specific outcome.
