GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE – artmaster.fr (SAS 9 Vies)

2. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern the sale of artworks carried out via the website artmaster.fr between:

• buyers (customers),

• artists exhibiting their works,

• and SAS 9 Vies, which provides intermediation, quality control, and logistics services.

3. Artwork Listing

The publication of artworks by artists on the platform is free of charge.

Each artwork must be:

• original,

• available for sale,

• accurately described (dimensions, technique, materials),

• accompanied by high-quality photographs.

4. Prices and Payment Terms

The price displayed on the website is set by the artist.

SAS 9 Vies applies a commission, included in the public price.

Payments are processed securely via the  Sogenactif / Sogecommerce (Sogecommerce Lite) Plateforme (bank - la Société Générale).

5. Sales and Shipping Process

       1. The customer purchases the artwork on artmaster.fr.

       2. SAS 9 Vies confirms the payment to the artist.

       3. The artist ships the artwork to the headquarters of SAS 9 Vies.

       4. SAS 9 Vies verifies the artwork’s integrity, conformity, quality, and authenticity.

       5. SAS 9 Vies ships the artwork to the final customer.

       6. Payment to the artist is released after validation.

6. Right of Withdrawal (Customers)

In accordance with European regulations, the customer has a 14-day withdrawal period to return the artwork, provided it is in perfect condition.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the return is due to an error by SAS 9 Vies.

7. Liability

SAS 9 Vies is responsible for shipping the artwork to the final customer.

The artist is responsible for:

• the actual quality of the artwork,

• its availability,

• its authenticity.

8. Intellectual Property

The artist remains the sole holder of all copyright and intellectual property rights.

SAS 9 Vies is authorized to use images of the artworks for marketing purposes (website, social media).

9. Disputes

In the event of a dispute, an amicable settlement will be sought first.

Failing that, jurisdiction is granted to the French courts.
